Often I stop and hang-around remote villages, staying a night or at least buying a snack on route to another destination.

But this was pure transit – images snapped as I zipped by … this occasion was in the mountains, somewhere beyond but within the Plain of Jars region, whilst visiting a “stone jar quarry site”.
